Cant move or use abilites bug PoE2

I was in Trial of Chaos and put in the first soul core in the third trial. then i could not use abilites but i could still walk. then i clicked on the soul core again and then i could not move or use any abilites and had to quit to character screen..... i lost 20 ex.......
