Legacy of the Vaal - Unable to Speak to Alva

While running a map with two others in the Temple of Kopec, after defeating the boss the cutscene was triggered without me on the center pad fully and it ejected me from the quest trigger area. This broke the state of the map for me and required that I reset the instance and run it again.

Alva was unable to be interacted with and going to the encampment thru the spawned teleport did not progress the quest. Had to reset the instance and run the map again to proceed.
