SUPPORT GEM DOESNT WPRK PROPERLY - EMBITTER

Hi Guys,

I was just testing around with support gems.
(I Play monk, main damage from coldstrike)

Problem:
When I have elemental conflux on, I get Bonus damage of an random element.
But I dont want to be it so random on my cold strike dmg.

Solution?:
So I thought about using Embitter to make it none random.
it says:

If Supported Skilles would gain extra Damage of any type other than Cold, They Gain Extra Cold Damage instead.

Seems logically for me that it should now transform all extra elemental damage to cold damage.
But no :)

Extra fire damage stays fire damage and since no lightning damage is applied i dont get an effect at all on cold strike.


Dont know why it shouldnt work based on the explaination of both Gems.

Please fix!!

Setup:

all gems have 20% quality, no corruption

Coldstrike
-Concentrated area
-Elemental Armament II
-Rapid Attacks II
-Rage III
-Embitter

Elemental Conflux
-Compressed Duration II

other active buffs:

Herald of Ash
- Magnified area
- Fire Mastery

Herald of ice
-Magnified area
-Elemental Armament II

Ghostdance
-Precision
-Compressed Duration II
