Currency Exchange is broken

The currency exchange is currently broken.
Specifically for uncut gems.
Purchasing uncut gems costs 3-10 times as much in exalts as you get if you sell the same uncut gem.
That should be enuff said no way that is working as intended.

The sell-prices you see are the more expensive ones that people doesn't insta-buy.

If you want to buy cheap you're free to pick whatever price you want, but you may have to wait a long time until someone is prepared to sell for that price.

The problem is that makes no sense.
A tier 7 uncut was priced at 40 exalts to buy one.
Yet I could not sell one at that price, the price to sell one was listed as 2 exalts.
I know I can post a purchase or sale at any price I want but if the market claims the price to buy is 40 then if I in fact post one for sale at 35 it should sell instantly. Which I did, and it did not sell.
If the price folks are selling them at is 40 ex then the market should not list them as selling for 2 ex unless tons are selling at that price, and vis-versa.
The system should be self balancing, math is not that hard and it looks like pure external market manipulation by the devs.

there would be high speculation otherwise considering how common are campaign skill gems, just think about that.
