3.27 Kinetic Blast of Clustering (KBoC) Hierophant

Haven't seen any updated post for 3.27 on this build and its variants, so figured I would start a compilation of resources.

To be clear, none of these are my own builds. I will post my current POB and future iterations, with the caveat that this is my first time playing KBoC, and I am surely not optimized.




3.27 Buffs:

Kinetic Blast of Clustering: Received straight up damage buff with an increase in the percent of mana as damage on the gem.

Bloodlines Ascendancy: The Farrul bloodline Huntleader gave Hierophant a solid option for its 4th ascendancy option, effectively adding 125% crit chance and 35% attack speed.

Squalling Tulgraft: Adds +1 to your tornados, a huge single target damage boost.


Foulborns: Several good foulborns, at both the high and low end of investment.

Q & A



1. What do you feel is an accurate POB config for KBoC.

I currently use 10k mana recently spent and 1 KBoC per projectile/explosion

2. Runegraft of Refraction limits us to 1 Projectile, why do you take additional projectile notable and mastery.

KBoC skill gem has a line that states that extra projectiles instead apply to an additonal explosion. This is not impacted by the Runegraft.

Right now I have more questions than answers, but will update this into a Q & A as I learn.


Questions for the Community:

I currently use 10k mana recently spent and x10 on KBoC explosions.

2. Snipers Mark or Assassins Mark?

Once you get the overcapped lightning resist chestplate as crit chest you don't really need assassins mark anymore. But before that in my pob it still says snipers mark is better

also i think 10x clustering seems a bit over inflated, if I recall sebK uses 2 in his config but tbh its really hard to calculate. I think best practice is to just keep explosions as a consistent variable and watch the numbers go up

Gotcha. Yea, I swapped to Sniper's last week as well. Currently using 1 KBOC per projectile in my updated POB (3, as I picked up acrobatics)
