Queen of the Forest is bugged and not working as intended

TLDR the chest states the movementspeed increase from sprinting will apply -
But through thorough testing the sprinting speed is ignored and my movement speed currently stays constant regardless of sprinting or not. I built my entire idea around QoF and later on rampaging with bear at high speed, now the dream is dead, because GGG did not change the chest, but only the wording?
