Stuck in "Find Tavakai" quest.

I guess i teleported back to the boat to quickly after killing the boss and i still needed to interact with him. I tried running back and it shows his character icon where the boss fight takes place but there's nobody there. Restarting/respawning has not fixed it. I can't progress any further

I have the same problem. I died. Boss died after that from DoT. The map is now empty and I need to 'find Tavakai'...
