Random variations of all portals does not play the full animation for Soulslash Portal

Problem: I am using random variations of all portals and I have just aquired the Soulslash Portal. This portal has a special animation with a sword. This animation does not play when using "random variations of all portals". Instead, the character does the standard animation, only the portal portion of the animation happens correctly.

Yep. This really sucks.
