Expedition logbook wont open with dannig at hideout or in ziggurat refuge

PRoblem: Cant runn logbooks because dannig wont create portals despite selecting the instance I want to run and then using r1 to create portal.
Troubleshooting:
1. Tried in hideout
2. tried in ziggurat refuge

Additional info:
1. using a controller but also tried clicking
2. have a map open at the time when i tried logbook with dannig

I’m also have this issue on Xbox. It seems PlayStation 5 players are also. And PC users are even having the issue when using a controller instead of a mouse and keyboard. It was not an issue last season, seems to have occurred in the new season. I am curious if there are any Xbox or PlayStation players not having this issue???
