Killed the architect 3 times still can't bank energy after using medallion.

I've killed the architect 3 times and the first time I killed him Alva automatically grabbed it when it dropped (pre 0.4c) and my medallion inventory was full so it just vanished. No energy storage added. I've now beaten him 2 more times. When I click on the medallions they just disappear and do not give me energy storage.

I finally did some more maps and I noticed that I can actually store more temple runs. None of this is described or made clear in the interface. Please make some sort of animation or change in the UI as I add more capacity to my temple. For example, clicking the medallion should make the soul stones that show runs saved flash a bright light or different art for the ones I can use and the ones available to unlock.
