Orb of Storms and Mana Flare not interacting during weapon swap

I have done some back and forth testing on this. As far as I can tell, when using Orb of Storms with Mana Flare support, the chain lightning hits that come from the orb are capable of critting and triggering Mana Flare normally when set to weapon swap 1, also when both 1&2 are enabled, but when it is set to only weapon slot 2 then Mana Flares no longer trigger. The only thing I haven't tested in this regard is completely respeccing my weapon swap points and reversing my weapons/abilities to the opposite slot - simply due to lack of gold. I will try to do some further testing and comment any more information or updates I can, as this is a huge portion of my damage and I would like to leverage weapon swap talents for aoe and duration.

Upon further testing I can confirm a few things. When using Orb of storms with only weapon set 1 checked, it can trigger mana flare on both the initial cast as well as the chain lightning hits. Additionally, with both sets checked to on, this is also the case when holding weapon 1 and casting the orb of storms. However if I manually swap to weapon 2 using my hotkey, then cast orb of storms it is still capable of triggering mana flare on the initial cast, but does not trigger via the chain lightning hits. This behavior extends to having it only in weapon set 2, where it is only capable of triggering mana flare on the initial cast and not on the chain lightning hits. I have been fairly exhaustive with my testing outside of doing a full respec, so I hope this information can be useful to someone.
