Secondary Weapon skill autobinding by itself

As title says, any time i join a new area my icestorm skill is automatically binding to my interact button (X). I play with a controller.

This interaction wasnt happening before, everything was working as intended until i decide to try to set dodge roll (O) on the same keybind as interact button (X).

After that, the bug i mentioned above started to happen and now is permanent, i need a solution, its a pain to rebind everything everytime i join a new area. PoE 2

Which client and Operating System do you use?

e.g. PlayStation; Steam client on Windows 11

If you change one of the graphics settings and restart the client, does the change get reverted?

Have you tried just manually editing the config file?

I tried changing graphics settings, restarted the client, deleted the config file where keybinds are saved, also tried using mouse and keyboard.

I just tried creating another character and that character works just fine.

tried changing the weapon to another one of different type and skill (the issue gets fixed)

but as soon as i use whispering ice staff, icestorm replaces the interact skill slot (X), so bug still persists in my main character.

I have this exact issue aswell. Allthough it happens randomly ever so annoyingly often, not only when I join new areas. It's annoying because it forces me out of bear form and risk of dying. I hope they fix this in the near future :/

Tried to fix it in several ways. Binding the Icestorm to another button is a joke, it just forces itself onto my X button (also play on controller). Didn't have the problem in the beginning of equipping the staff, but slowly got worse and worse.

can confirm of this bug happening to me aswell. the icestorm gets forced to left click after zone changes
