elemental resist issue

hi i noticed that my elemental resist doesnt seem to work anymore my chaos inoculation either . im level 82 with maxed out 75% resist and chaos inoculation . however one hit from a mob and i freeze burn and every ailment you can think of happens . my chaos resist shows 0% as well . im playing shaman when i did the same build on infernalist no issue ever but with shaman first play through major issues unless im missing something ? pls help
