Utmost Offering Notable does not work at all

So with the utmost offering notable, it states that your offering cannot be damaged if it was created recently.
However, this is not true, and they can still be damaged and killed in those 4 seconds after created.

At the 10 second mark, you can clearly see that I have just put down the soul offerings, however they get one tapped by the boss.
