locked in map boss room

Multiple times this league I have defeated the map boss but get locked in the arena. There is a red gate blocking me from exiting. It just happened in the Castaway unique map.
Other times I was able to log in to Town/Hideout from the character select and it would respawn me at the beginning of the map. This time however, it kept putting me in the boss room and wouldn't let me leave.
