Respawn at checkpoint on HC is missing and that makes taming extremely tedious or next to impossible

I'll assume this is a bug because I didn't see it in the patch notes, and besides, removing it would be nonsensical because you can still pause, log out and spawn at town if you want to avoid death.

The only option is resetting and running around an area dozens to hundreds of times to find a beast with the desired mods.

Catching one during mapping is impossible, unless perhaps with an extremely slow and tanky build.
