Amanamu's Gaze dont work properly in Morior Invictus Regalia. It gives bonuses itself (2 armor for 1 spirit), but effect from socket dont work. Socket effect works properly with other gems. Maybe problem with list of accepted gems, which missing Amanamu's Gaze.
