Abyss and Game Server Lost Contact With the Realm

This cannot be coincidence now.

When doing Abyss content, once when I was in Abyssal Depths and once when Lightless Void, I get:

"Game Server Lost Contact With the Realm"

The former was when I opened the final chest and the latter when I was approaching the boss door.

When I logged back in: the portals were closed, and any gear I had picked up in the Abyss was no longer in my inventory, including some good bones.

Compounding losses: the juiced Waystone, any other map content, and now the map is flagged as "attempted" so no more juicing, and atlas passive points.

The first time I attributed to bad luck but now I'm not so sure, since it only happened to me in a side area/Abyss.
