Tried to launch map while player entered hideout -> map failed to launch

I tried to launch a "jade Island" map after clearing the adjacent maps in order to access it. Added my waystone and tablets when a player joined my hideout at the same time. The map then went to "in progress" -> waited around for it to launch -> went to a different zone to reset the instance (went to clearfell) -> back to hideout -> Map failed.

Bummer since it was a potential big drop.
