It's POSSIBLE, that the Jewel section is older than the current passive tree suggestion. The passive tree which makes use of the Lioneye's Fall Jewel is new with 2.6. Soo... it's possible it's a change that he hasn't gotten around to updating yet. Anyway, taking the Claw cluster isn't useful unless you do have a the Jewel. ZerotuL posted an alternative passive tree (without the Claw cluster) a page or two back. (okay, it was on page 832, so ... more than a couple).
