Hey I updated my gear alot, still not sure how you get 100k dps? I have now 50k on tooltip on Ray with overload+pots on... so tell me how I gain 50k dps more? :P
Got 6l shav now with lv 4 enlighten, running 6 auras..

This build is far from being what it could be on Std with legacy items. It's still good but far from what's on that GIF on the 1st page.

DPS is really higher with Swift Affliction but it is said: "15% reduced duration of supported skills and damaging ailments they inflict". My SR debuff lasts 1.51 sec with SA and 1.74 sec without it, tooltip damage (in h/o, RF on) is 43000 with SA and 41100 with Empower lvl4. Do those 0,23 sec matter what do you think?

If i have regular shavronne without + 1 lvl to gems and 21 lvl sr then we use 4 lvl empower or rapid decay\swift affliction?

Im lvl 71 and struggling with RF Ive got a phenoix shield, using vitality and Purity of fire and my life just disappears I've not gone LL yet, any tips to solve this issue ?

I didn't mean you, I mean the tooltip from the thread info, like he had a picture of his ingame dps on his ray ingame, so how the fuck he gets 100k dps? I am at 50k dps and I got like everything he has.

His gear (Ahfack) is INSANE. This is the answer :P Perfect rings, shield 72% inc spell dmg, shavs+1, i guess it means his SR gem is lvl !26! RF and EF gems lvl 21, perfect rare jewels...

OK on the Scorching Ray my dps in POB says:


Level 3 Empower \\ 20/20 SR: 366,714 DPS

No Empower \\ 20/20 Swift \\ 20/20 SR: 427,974 DPS

Level 4 Empower \\ 21/20 SR: 458,179 DPS

No Empower \\ 21/20 SR \\ 20/20 Swift: 475,728 DPS

Level 4 Empower \\ +1 Shavs \\ 21/20 SR: 511,754 DPS

No Empower \\ 21/20 SR \\ 20/20 Swift \\ +1 Shavs: 532,214 DPS

Why would Ahfack be using empower at all when it looks like you get more from swift?
Maybe I'm missing something. Please let me know if I am because I would love to get the maximum dmg from my SR.

edit: It does look like with all of his increased fire damage it is slightly more dps for him to use empower, but for the majority of people, swift seems to be better than empower.

I'll run mine through PoB when I get off work. This guide was made in 2.5 - 2 big patches before eff came out and before rapid decay was switched to swift affliction. So it's all still pretty New. Thanks for feedback!
