but nothing changed with patch. there is literally nothing to change.
if you want your totem back - craft +1 totem shield. maybe drop one cwdt setup for more dmg and start using brands as they on simillar nodes with totems. thats all.

What about the new totem gem? How would you implement it?

there is no need for it since reworked node in ascendancy let us place 2 totems for 1 cast. and this multiple totem support gem just let us place 3rd totem with huge damage penalty.
personally I, see this gem as workaround form non hierophant classes to play with totems.

The new totem support has a penalty of 21% less damage at level 20, so would it still be not worth it?
