I hope you guys don't rely on the Agony Crawler. With 2 APS and 30% chance to poison and just a single arrow you'll have a pretty damn hard time keeping up those poison stacks.

Master Alchemist for that immunity. Thinking on going weapon swap ED for boss killing or vaal blight

A lot of these builds look ok, but none of them take Point Blank. The 50% more multiplier to the on hit and degen for CA is huge and definitely worth the extra points heading down

You can easily get Point Blank as a quiver implicit, so no need to waste nodes for it.

Check the ZiggyD preview video... simply adding GMP support to CA allows for overlapping (POISON STACKING) explosions. With +1 Pierce on anything, tree or gear, you increase the poison stacking. Adding to that, the new Ascendancy node will keep the stacks longer.

Point blank does not affect the DoT of Caustic Arrow, only the hit.

Using GMP will half your Caustic Arrow damage over time. I don´t know if thats the right way to go.



As far as i could read about till now, it seems its either going full for damage over time without Herald of Agony

-or-

Focusing on the area on impact damage from Caustic Arrow. Using a GMP here wouldn´t be that much of a damage lose because of the overlapping explosions. And as ZiggyD´s video showed, keeping up the virulence stacks should be no problem here.


And, important note: Focusing on the the damage over time part of Caustic Arrow will be by far the cheaper way to go! You don´t need a high pdps bow, crit, attack speed and there is no need for dps rings and amulet

I personally would prefer if i could focus on the impact area damage + herald of agony because i really want to use a high pdps rare bow in poe finally. Every other bow build i played before always had a unique bow as bis. But there is still to find out if this can compete with the damage over time effect. Especially because this will be A LOT(!) more expensive.

I think about such a basis for CA + HA
While PoB does not give all the details and can I miss something?
