with transendence, are u supposed to cycle MS/VMS to constantly keep it up? because when its not up it seems like u are vulnerable af, or?

Glad to hear that.
And well, you are supposed to save VMS so you can turn it on when your MS is down and you are in dangerous situation (for example lets say MS runs out in middle of pack, or while boss is doing some attack). Most of the time it should not be an issue because MS has low downtime (7s duration with < 3s CD, what is ~70% uptime)

Oh also now that you mentioned Transcendence, I was messing with the Transcendence setup earlier and here is experimental version that also takes Adamant and has quite a bit higher phys reduction (uses Taste of hate instead of granite and also grabs 1 extra endurance charge):

Thank you for your interesting and beginner friendly build, I am enjoying it so far and having a smooth leveling (lv 55).
But sometimes, I am one-shot by enemy or boss, is there any tips on defending? (I have immortal call linked with lv1 cast when damage taken).
Edit: after changing some gears and increasing my resistances, it feels better now.

I think i need to get the timeless jewel and clusters at the same time, right?

Yea my leveling setup is not super high on defense, so fixing iton gear is fairly important :d

Ideally yes, but you can go for Transcendence before clusters as well, you just need to test if you can sustain your alchemist jade properly without them.

This build is pretty fun :) I have some questions... How do you sustain Endurance charges? I can't see enduring cry anymore in PoB. And... is immortal call spamable enough to counter (without endurances?) Veteran's Awareness drawback?
