How is it "ultra defensive" over the regular build? 13 hp gained per spell?

1) 4.5k life and 8.4 k es
2) life layer -> life flasks (instantaneous) vs energy shield recharge

with 15% double damage and arc i do shock bosses considering how fast they melt so dps i prolly higher than in my pob (277k Burst DPS) + more AOE than other builds here = more damage.
and i dont have to drop vortex etc to boost my damage. one button build + flasks.
One more Level for 300+k chest DPS.

and i dont have to drop vortex etc to boost my damage. one button build + flasks.
One more Level for 300+k chest DPS.

look at my prohile, i almost play defensive juggernauts (i am 68 and my eyes ... also) and i meaned a "ultra defensive version" ... of this build of course

Hi folks - do we need attack speed on gear and cool down recovery on one (belt or boots)? I don't see that in the guide anywhere. Cheers

- as an addendum - i keep getting 1 shotted with regular mobs in red maps, no clue why

You can get up to 6.06 APS with no cool down recovery.
Over that and up to 7.5 you want at least 14% cdr.

In game tool tip does't seem correct for aps. It's not too hard to get over 6.06 with Tailwind/onslaught/elusive(+mistwalker which I think is added in PoB fork but not regular) and attack speed on a few jewels.

CDR is on the awakened CoC gem but that is only doing to help the ball lighting in your chest.

I've been using Arc in Mjolner mostly because it allowed me to delve farther and it is satisfying watching it chain around. It shocks too.

Did you lose a bunch of damage by dropping mark of shaper? Or does having the ring with +lighting damage per charge make up for it enough?

I spent a lot of EX on this build yesterday - i have almost 8k energy shield atm. I've never been 1 shotted so much - any ideas? Constantly - bosses, random adds in game, i'm about to quit playing until the new league. I have had geared up flicker / freeze pathefinders, got the zombie smasher one, have done cospris builds - but wanted a good tanky dps build so i sold all my CoC gear to buy stuff for this build.

Resistances are capped (not over by a lot on some). ES is 8kish atm - and im lvl 91 assassin

Upgrade your shield and helmet for more es, 8k is not a big number
Change craft of your belt also, buy lvl 21 gem, energy leech has no use, replace it with other gem
Save currency for fortify mjonir, its boots our survival a lot
You need a granite flask, we need fortify and granite for physical damage
2 ball lighting will have more leech than arc
