Little tip i found usefull:

Replace your Increased Duration on Frostbite/Projectile Weakness with level 4 Enhance.
With Wish for Death from Medium Jewel Socket you allready have almost 13 seconds curse time.
You can get the gem for 50 chaos and it´s especially strong if you use Frostbite.

That sounds quite interesting. I've done some math but I could be wrong as POE likes to mess with the specifics of the words used so correct me if I am wrong.

Enhance level 4 will only add 24% freeze duration on Frostbite (20-23% to 44-46%)
Then Wish for Death will do the following:
Your curse duration (at 10.9s will remain the same but will push Frosbite's effects to ~13s duration, -52.8 Cold resistance and 16.8% chance to freeze. (thats from 10.9s duration, -44% cold resistance and 14% freeze chance at Level 20 gem).

Put it up for sale, but noone seems to want it, has the wrong enchant I guess...totem is just too rare

ilvl 85 redeemer helm -> frigid fossil craft .. around 1 in 20 fossils is a -9 helm and costs around 3c per attempt

I must be missing something, why do we need a Redeemer helm? Why can we not have just normal helm and apply frigid fossil?

The -9% cold res to nearby enemies is a Redeemer mod in 3.10, can no longer be gotten from just fossils.

Apologies for double posting.

The reason is because your wand you're using, is 22% cast speed.
The one you're linking, is only 15%.
Cast speed is a huge factor.
