POE2 Portal Warning (Trial of Sekhemas)

Man this sucks, just happened to me before i ascended. How do I even get a new token to start over?

Yeah I just had this happen to me. Sucks, I had a good run on a fresh hardcore character with 3 silver keys and a gold. I got a trade whisper so I went back to town to do that because my inventory was full anyway, so I invited the guy, traded, and tried to go back but the portal was broken. I fast traveled back to area with the waypoint but when I touched the alter it just wanted me to put a new coin in so I think I just got screwed. At least I grabbed my ascendancy points first...

Just happened, finished trials, killed boss, went to clear inventory and then couldn't get back through portal or restart trials or anything. Sad this is still a bug that they haven't addressed or fixed. Shame.

Just had the same problem. I finished the last boss on the 4th trial. Wanted to get rid of the trash. Poral in town didn't work. When i got back to trail room it wanted me to put a new coin and couldn't get to the boss room. The problem is i didn't get the last ascendency points so need to do it one more time from the very beginning :/ There's no work around :(

There are unnecesary warnings for leaving areas within maps that you can return to without consequence but none for a trial, it won't hurt to put warnings where they make sense.

Can this be addressed yet? You get a warning before using a portal in the temple which you can return to without consequence yet you can click on the portal and ruin your ascendency and key rewards so easily without a single warning. Make it confirm if you have keys left and/or haven’t done your ascendency. How has this still not been addressed

Absolutely miserable. Just wanted to get back to the last boss after dumping inventory to stash to get the leftover loot, and accidentally clicked wrong portal. "Best" wasted 30 weekend minutes of my life.

Why there's confirmation for the temple where I can simply return, and no confirmation for area with no way back? Can't believe it's still not addressed 1 year after release.
