No Boss Atlas points from killing area lvl 82 Boss

I just tried a lvl82 for the 1st time and killed the unique boss. I too, didn't get any book for 2 pts in the atlas tree. This is to go from 6/10 to 8/10. I know the last two is from killing Arbiter of Ash. If it helps, the map I tried was the Desert Map with the unique boss.
How come this is STILL not fixed??? The fact that this is not a greater uproar, does this means I'm also a minority who faced this issue. Sigh, between the Game Freeze and now this, makes me want to play Last Epoch while POE2 fixes the issue. 最後に ChengMW#7850 が 2025/05/01 9:32:30 に編集

Well, on a whim, I tried a second map that gives level 82 boss - Crypt Map.
This time, it DID give the book for 2 boss points in atlas. I suppose "If at first you don't succeed, try (and try) again" ?? At least, I don't have anxiety with opening level 82 maps now ie. will I waste my T16 on a hard to come by Boss + Irradiated map in the corrupted nexus area.. 最後に ChengMW#7850 が 2025/05/02 11:30:13 に編集

" I don't think there is a bug. People just don't know what they need to do. For points 7 & 8 you need: I. T16 waystone (vaal orb) II. irridated +1 area level (tower tablet) III. corrupted OR cleansed +1 area level (only 1 out of ~20 corrupted/cleansed areas has this affix; it has to be noted in the affix list of the area before you put in a map) !corrupted/cleansed on their own DO NOT provide the +1 area level needed! 最後に Prügelprinz#6281 が 2025/05/02 12:06:35 に編集

I couldn’t get point 7/8 from maps either. Arbiter ended up dropping it for me. No idea how to get point 9/10 now. Maybe I have to do arbiter again

People do know what they are doing. It's literally bugged. I had everything perfect with level 82 monster level showing and it did not drop the book even though I did exactly all the previous ones I need to in the exact right way.

Same for me im at 8/10. Its very annoying knowing other players havein an advantage.

Yeah same here, just did a tier 16 map with a corrupted area +1 & tablet +1 with points spend in the atlas tree.
Stats clearly stated level 82 area but no book. |

Same here.
I have both corrupted and cleansed irradiated maps, when putting T16 map, it only shows up monster level 81. It's bugged. I even tried doing the core corruption, irradiated on T16 and didn't work. |

" As explained above, corrupted/cleansed on their own is not +1. They add mods, which you can see on the atlas. One of those mods is +1 to area level. T16 Irradiated +1 cleansed/courruption MOD |

I am 6/10 in the Boss tree, killed boss at area level 82 and there was no book.
I rushed to the boss without completing the other content first, if that helps debugging... |
