Sticky Whirling Slash
Whirling Slash seems to stick very easily to terrain and enemies, leading to movement during it feeling clunky, less fluid and less intuitive than it ideally should.

I would also add that there is an Auto-aim feature when playing with WASD and Mouse that should be removed.
I tested with a controller and it is not a problem. With Controler you alway jumb between whirlwind in the direction of your joystick input. But, with WASD+Mouse, if you Whirlwind close to an ennemy, you will move toward said ennemy instead of toward your mouse. This got me killed more than a few times, because I use my 3 whirlwind to disengage slowly before comboting, but when you're not moving away from the treath it kinda fucks you over. |

I want to second this, I am having the same problem with WASD. I basically can't fight around anywhere with narrow paths, I have to use my whirling slash/twister combo away from any chokepoints. One thing I like about whirling slash is the mobility it offers me but it just feels sooooo clunky right now, it needs a smoother experience.
To that end I also think more needs to be done in regards to its interaction with twister and Barrage as it is almost all too common to miss the beat with either of those skills and screwing up the combo. The two things that stick out is A) I have to wait just a little too long after whirling slash finishes to engage Barrage. If I click Barrage too soon, nothing happens and B) Sometimes a monster hit seems to collapse my whirlwind (maybe misplacing me but it happens even if I don't move), and that screws up the twister combo as well. |
