Experience loss...
" That`s why I do not play anymore and wait for GGG collect theirs mind. I reject this sick idea. " Blizzard will never introduce an XP penalty because, unlike GGG, they aim to generate revenue from their games. In contrast, the developers at GGG seem more focused on demonstrating their creativity by implementing unconventional features, such as XP penalties, which, in today's gaming landscape, are largely considered illogical. Well, I believe that sooner or later, they will remove the XP penalty or introduce something better than that (mark my words). They have no choice if they want to generate profit from PoE2. Otherwise they will continue to cater to a minority and fail to achieve profitability. |

i agree 100% i started a post today bout the stupid white mob 1 shot, i tear groups of mobs up and well get caught up in ( ok im doing good feeling) cause killing 1 or 2 maybe 3 rares at a time or a boss and huge amounts of adds with a few nice rares in the midst, just to think pfffft! whats 1 little bitty white mob gonna do and thus the failed sense of security has already set in and BOOM!!!! 1 stinking white mob rips me to pieces and there goes maybe 5 to 10 maps worth of exp, because of 1 stupid little white mob like the hag that shoots a red aoe from a distance under your feet, but pffft i just tore a massive group up why should i be concerned about this trash mob

for people who know how to play, they dont lose xp, and fact is most people dont know how to play.
if people are struggling with white mobs, that's truly a separate issue. its one, a build issue, where only certain builds strive much better than others. and people wanna do their own thing than play meta builds. and even if they did play the correct builds, poe/poe2 isn't exactly an easy game where it's just second nature to know how to balance a build. so people are left struggling. but it is more than possible to have an 'easy game' experience even in 0.2, but the problem is people dont know how to get there with some others unwilling to sacrifice for more potent skills. but pinning it on xp loss.... its not really the root cause of problems. first thing i'd look into is removing stunlock for the time being and making the rest of the builds feel better. i'd also allow for builds to feel more defensively powerful and easier to get there. just like how in poe1 people are able to tank the strongest hits. people like feeling strong. it'll cost you, but the build videos people should watch should be more defensively impressive than.... wtf boss dead in 1 second that'll improve the dying experience. if they want, they can reduce damage or kill/orbekilled gameplay. `Spent 2 mirrors on my build, but I'm only Level 98.` LOL
`From just quick sweep of your characters, toxic rain, golems .. sure, non meta... sure.` LOL `What are divs?` |
