" I seriously doubt they will do something in the next patch, i hope so but also doubt. New content, maybe new class and new weapons and crossbow will be forgotten again. I dont see GGG replying on xbow threads like they do on others, thats why i doubt. |

Each skill has also it's own reload time, siege cascade takes 1 second, glacial bolt nearly 0.5 secs, not using reload speed. Bigger ammo i guess.

+1 The most of skills in Crossbow are very slow. Devs need to bring new with fast firing rate and 2x damage.

I quit the game because GGG doesn’t know how to design a weapon with proper synergy. About three months ago, I posted a suggestion to improve the game by making totems work like the Barbarian totem.
It would be simple to implement: - Ballista could use grenade-type skills. - Ripwire could trigger shooting skills. I envisioned a build where I use the crossbow to set up skills while a grenade detonates them. I also proposed making totems invulnerable, since they're part of the skill—this would fix several issues related to the weapon’s mechanics. This change would use just one gem slot, acting as a soft nerf while solving major problems. But after three months, my idea was completely ignored. So, I quit. Now I’m playing D4, LE, and Draknatos. LE is the best at listening to its community. Just quit , the employ is seeing just china market dont stay open to new ideas |

The only issue I have with crossbow is that it's health/armour based, which is rubbish. I think the idea is a slow tanky, but still ranged character.
Unfortunately health/armour does not make you tanky in this game, so you feel squishier than a bow user, slower and far less agile. I'm fine with the slow and tanky playstyle if we can mitigate being interrupted before our skills can go off, and are actually tanky... I really like how we can set up combos with crossbow, even if it takes a while to get them going, we just have to be tanky enough to not die before we can take advantage of a good combo. Personally I can't stand the pew-pew one button press style of play. I'm very happy we get some more complexity in the POE2 combat and a slower more intelligent way to play instead of button mashing. |
