Casting curse on ground sometimes doesn't work

Whenever you try to cast a curse on ground in narrow spaces or places crowded with monsters (while fightning within the rituals), the mana is consumed and the ring as well as its effects are not applied.

the expanse gem support makes the situation worse as the ring gets larger. it seems to me there is an effective area check that could be glitching the casting

I also think it's a bug.

If you want to avoid this bug, use a passive or support gem to set the activation time to 0.
