What kind of d*g sh*t crafting system the recombinator is?

The time you start to use recombinator you usually need 6 out of 7 mods to be beneficial.

I would understand a 5% chance if you want to hit that sub 5% chance, but combining 2 mods with 8% chance THEN you still need 4-5 great mods to get a useful item... well... I don't know...
The problem with the concept they are aiming for. because they want people to pick items from the floor which the whole problem stems from poe1 of filtering all the ground loot and some people asked for making ground loot matter, now how can you implement a system that can be good for crafting and at the same time doesn't undermine ground loot potential high tiered items that's the real problem.

Some ideas like limiting the range of RNG can be good which omen do but is only limited to a more general approach like lowest tier on an item which doesn't really help much but at a later stage, and you have greater essence which help with the initial start of an item if you are starting from scratch but then again is not really crafting but trying your luck to get the initial stage done, or get lucky and find a high tier item with good 4 mods and hope you can fix the last 2.

iam not sure if its possible to have both concepts without colliding with each others, but they can add more tools to limit the rng range of crafting without making it too broken that would undermine the rest of the tools.

I made a post about how they could potentially fix this to some degree and give an economic sink that would help the longevity of the game for newer players and the value of their currency drops. Feel free to critique my idea.

Not exactly the same subject but honestly they should probably just remove identifying items. We really don't need that stuff in 2025
Let people filter gear based on what mods they have on drop.
Then ground loot will truely matter, and it will collectively save thousands and thousands of hours of useless tedium for the players.

Really, get rid if that system, no one will regret it, ever.
It's trash and barely useful. Honestly I think until this game get more deterministic (real deterministic, not they way poe 1 defines it) I'm probably going to play till I get to t15 maps and then stop.
The one you just ignore it exists?
The one that makes you one more time quitting playing this s... game.
