Single explosive expeditions are a non-starter
These are seriously terrible. Does your design team have no concept of a player focus group, because I can't imagine anyone that actually plays expeditions would have given positive feedback.
Maybe you thought, placing them individually takes too much time, and that would be correct, but removing our ability to avoid specific modifiers completely removes our agency. Entering a map and seeing 1 explosive is equivalent to finding burning ground on a waystone, both frustrating and will be skipped 100% of the time. i dont really understand what you are saying. Do you mean extreme archeology from the atlas skill tree is not useful or? if yes i do not agree, and you dont have to pick it.
