please remove the bias on gear drops
as a witch using ES gear, im sick and tired of seeing nothing but armor and evasion gear. its so blatantly obvious that its hard coded to NOT drop what would be useful.
furthermore i see endless querterstaves, maces, and shields. while i appreciate the increase in currency drops, the patch just spams me with absolute trash that isn't relevant to my archetype. 最後にスレッドがバンプされた時間 時刻 2025/05/07 13:36:41

So you're asking for bias on gear drops then
In the meantime use a loot filter to remove all the stuff you don't want to see 最後に Strangehill#1736 が 2025/05/07 6:28:24 に編集

Loot filters it's a SHAME for GGG!
We need character based drop passive tree! |

heres the way it plays out.
play a str build, you will see ES and evasion gear. play a dex build, you will see ES and armor gear. play a int build, you will see armor and evasion gear. its BS underhanded game design. |

Yeah that's just your bias telling you that
You'd like GGG to bias drops towards your archetype, it's a perfectly reasonable thing to want Of course, farmers/ traders/ crafters will not want that at all 最後に Strangehill#1736 が 2025/05/07 7:08:15 に編集

" i can open a chest, or kill a rare, ya know the kind where you get a nice cluster of loot to drop. i can do five of those, and not one ES piece of gear will drop. its predictable and repeatable, its not just rng or personal bias. its built into the game. edit added: we may have to agree to disagree. to me, i pay attention to these things and its very obvious whats happening. 最後に dmc9014#4875 が 2025/05/07 7:21:07 に編集

It's so blatantly obvious. I have 7 different toons and each time I get the loot for other classes. Armor/es drops every single time. I came back after loot buff to test. Rolled a ranger and got construct hammers all the way through act 1 and 2. If u play this game at all its obvious there's coding to drop what u don't need. It's even more obvious now that more loot drops. Was much harder to see before. Also light radius mana/health on kill, stun bs... every single drop... every single time I "craft"(gamble). It's so blatantly obvious they are using lazy bad design to try to keep ppl playing.

I don't think there is a bias that prevents dropping what you need. It's just that literally anything can drop for all classes and there is so much of it, most of which is completely useless for whatever you're playing at the time. Add a spell of bad rng luck and you get the impression that game is conspiring against you.
There is also the big game design problem with the having to identify loot dogma. If that wouldn't be in the game they could increase the quantity of drops more and loot filters could take care of highlighting/finding more of what is actually useful without all the tens or hundreds hours long dry spells. |

Currently there's a 1 in 6 chance your armour class will drop, assuming you are sticking to a single class
So yes it's much more likely that something other than your class will drop However, if you filter out everything except for your class and one other, then it becomes pretty apparent that the drops are an even spread. If you're not willing to approach this with anything more scientific than a hunch, then this won't go any further and will continue to be "BS underhanded game design" |
