The Gatcha Problem - Less Randomization feedback and suggestions

Read over the newest patch notes. The breach stuff is nice it's actually target farmable to a degree.... still annoying to have to gatcha the atlas for breach though. Please make more content target farmable like breach.
All the other gatcha crap is miserable.

Why cant certain bosses drop gear for warriors and certain bosses drop gear for sorcs? Why can't I farm a certain boss 5000 times for dream fragments? It's insane.

Let alone target farm certain content easily. Not everything has to be a random frustrating process.



Agreed. It's shocking how they shifted so much from POE 1 to POE 2 being just RNG, including damn gems now. Getting a perfect jewelers is 100x rarer than a 6L in POE 1, and even a krangled 6L with only 2-3 wrong colors is still powerful.

This was a gotcha disguised as a "buff".
I have felt at many times that POE 2 is almost like a Korean grinder where they create problems so they can sell you the solution. POE 2 is too many problems and no solutions.

Exactly. The sheer time investment you need to actually get anything you want is absurd. I have over 500 hours playing on a single character trying to naturally collect all the uniques with my guild. I haven't played in weeks but along eith the res of my guild we have collected something like 280 uniques and have like 5000-7000 hours total as a guild. That's 3/4ths of a year of play time between all of us and we haven't even seen a Dream fragments or Headhunter along with all the remaining uniques.....
That's just uniques. That doesnt even cover just trying to get best in slot gear for a character.

I never played PoE 1. I'm new to ARPGs as of PoE 2 I've never played an ARPG i really enjoyed until this 0.1 of this game..... and then 0.2 came out and it feel absolutely horrible because at least before most builds had some level of speed and clear so you could brute force through the gatcha.... but now you just can't for most builds outside the meta 6 or 7.
If you have around 3 divines, you can buy yourself a good item set from the market that clears all endgame content except for the highest challenge content like +3/4 difficulty pinnacle bosses. With 3 more divines, you should be able to clear all content - with non-meta builds and with any class.
The way its designed, you are not supposed to get best in slot gear. It's also not neccessary to have this gear for any content.

Prove this.

Play a lighting freeze sorceress choosing stormweaver as Ascendency using spark and drenched to proc freeze. Show me the truth behind your words.

This worked in 0.1 btw so it should be possible.

Also you are forgetting that SSF exists my guy.

Target farming is a band-aid on a bigger problem. I'd rather see them address the bigger problem.

How is target farming a bandaid solution? Certain bosses dropping certain unique items or gear types has always been a part of RPGs, MMOs, ARPGs, and pretty much any loot based game even borderlands and destiny... seems to work well there. Hell even in this game Pinnacle bosses are target farmable for their uniques.
