@Khann, I agree with your message, but the reason why Decaying Hex doesn't work with Blasphemy is because then we can build a 1 button Dark Effigy (chaos totem) build which is totally unthinkable..

Can u imagine going around, cursing your enemies with the help of Blasphemy, applying Decaying Hex which will enable you to use Dark Effigy after that?

Your Death Knight power fantasy is not allowed. Well, only if your knight will have like 1k mana and 100-200 mana regen to sustain the curse mana cost.


Yes, I can imagine doing just that :)

I'm also ok if they clearly state in the skill description that it only applies to curses you cast yourself, I'm even fine if they just do not allow you to socket decaying hex into blasphemy, and solved. I'm also fine if the skill has 60% less damage if applied through blasphemy, etc. Just add options.

I'm just sad if they ignore many bug reports and feedbacks from players since December 2024 and instead of fixing skills that do not work, they are messing with skills that did work just fine, making many builds unplayable, upsetting players who enjoyed them (0.1 Demon Form Hexblast Infernalist here :). So thats my recommendation here - make more players happy instead making more players angry :-D duh

tell me master... what did you achieve ? i made mirrors of mirrors and strong builds done all content easily can afk on basiclaly everything. .. what is it exactly you achieved that makes your opinion of the game worth more than others?
Your first line is true.

Amazing fundament game. Fun to play.

But the Problems need to be adressed.

Your Suggestions though are terrible imo

I think we have to address the Problems and have faith in GGG to fix it in a good way.


Make Suggestions with things they might not think about like my suggestion to make BASIC CURRENCY Pickable from the floor by walking over it.

But telling them to remove key component of the game is bad

- Scrap the Ascendancy Trials. The rogue-like elements aren't fun, they occur too early in the story and don't respect your time. Your build often isn't anywhere near optimised enough for them not to feel like bashing your head up against a wall. If a whole secondary market develops to have your character carried through the trials, you've failed as game devs. The bosses are cool, so keep them, but just make it a series of back-to-back boss rooms (one for each 2 new ascendancy points). You can keep the honour system and chaos trial system for the boss rooms, just don't have the stupidness of running through 9 rooms with stacking modifiers each time.

Sekhema Trial is anywhere but complicated or hard. I get it its a bit on the annoying part. But its nowhere near as annoying as other parts. In 0.2 it took me 2 tries for first ascendancy. With a bad build at that. It could get some love reducing the RNG, but otherwise.

- Fix the economy. The loot buffs were nice, but they don't address the underlying issue. The 1% run the economy. No unique in the game should be selling for 600 Divines. Introduce scaling price caps or limitations on no. of trades above 200 Divines per day. The issue is that the build-defining uniques that trivlialise the game are unobtainable to the average player, and so the average player cannot farm at the same level as the 1% that control the economy.


I see why controlling the Market would be kinda useful. But your solution is very lackluster. If you go and control the market, then you would have to set rules for every single item or an algorithm who calculates a min and max price for every item. And increases the max price or decreases the min price according to demand. Only game i knew does that is Black Desert. The only Benefit of this is that you prevent gold sellers. And i dont even think that approach is remotely possible in Path of Exile 2. I see a world where it might work, but i doubt it would.

- Rework the item corruption mechanic. All this mechanic does is encourage the hugely wealthy players to reroll uniques and discard them, uniques that would otherwise benefit new players. Make Vaal Orbs combine two items, i.e. randomly replacing 1 or 2 affixes from the base item with 1 or 2 affixes from the added item. Imagine the fun that could be had by combining uniques. Instant build diversity, instant economy fix (non-meta uniques still valuable). Introduces a whole new endgame crafting mechanic that's about creativity, not just slamming BIS meta uniques.


Thats not how it works. And no removing that or reworking Corruption would not fix economy issues.

- Make weapon skills scale with multiple attributes. It doesn't have to be the same attributes, e.g. you could make Spear of Solaris scale with DEX/INT, but Rake could scale with DEX/STR. Allows for more diversity and thematic builds. You should be able to make different weapons work with different classes rather than it always being suboptimal by a huge margin (unless you find some crazy unintended interaction).


Bad idea. We had attribute Stacking and it would lead to exactly that attribute stacking. Scaling damage with attributes isnt a good idea.

I do agree here. Melee in POE 2 is very lackluster and its also more dangerous to play. But i do think that is sth that will 100% change in future patches.

Overall, the game has massive potential. The game just doesn't respect our time - the mechanics introduced to create 'difficulty' are actually just annoying and make me want to stop. When I die I don't feel like I misplayed or will play better next time, I just feel like I have to start all over again.


Yeah the game doesnt really respect the time of its players. I agree on that point.

Imo, none of the points you listed are problems and I don't want any of the changed. The game has got lots of issued, but those aren't the ones.

Happy to hear others' thoughts, you make some good points. My suggestions may all be terrible, I understand how controversial they are. I do think GGG are good devs.

But sunk cost fallacy... just because something is a key component of the game doesn't make it good. Plus, it's Early Access.

GGG keep doing band-aid updates. I know that there's people that love the game as is, but there's a silent majority and they are giving it negative reviews now for a reason. And it's not because of minor annoyances.

GGG can reither keep placating their hardcore veterans (*cough* lightning spear players *cough*) or make a good game that's accessible to all and respects players' time. I don't think it's mutually exclusive, either.

I guess I'll see you all at 1.0 lol
