ACT 2 cruel, asala wont open the gate

In act 2 cruel, asala will not open the gate in the trail of corruption. I am literally locked out of progression. i cant play the game. I cant go thru the gate needed for the main mission. i tried relogging, i tried resetting the instance, nothing works, this character i spent 2 and a half days on is now locked and i cant do anything about it.
