E.g. You want exp loss removed, OK sure but now you get even less exp per mob.

POE 1 players should be more listened too, they know GGG more than others and have experienced this constantly through out the years.



So don't remove it. Give more XP gain at higher lvls, or give higher map tiers, or offer XP recovery on corpse, or at the very least lower XP loss.

It's horribly unbalanced right now, if they can't admit that then this game is completely hopeless

Keep XP loss on HC only

Edit: Release level 85 maps at least so that the XP curve up to level 100 is not so extreme.

No, I'm not oversimplifying and no, EXP loss is not imbalanced. It does exactly what it's supposed to do.

But you're not understanding what the last 10 levels are supposed to be.

Any content in the game can be done at level 90 and level 90 is fairly easily reachable. EXP loss before then is not really an issue.

The last 10 levels are basically prestige levels for those who care about the ladder and want to invest in that aspect of the game. They are not meant for casual players and they should not be planned for when creating a build.

What you are asking for is to remove the only somewhat competitive aspect of the game so Joe Shmoe can feel validation by grinding to max level without hurdles.

No dice.

I dont normally reply to replies, but you are spot on mate.

Talking to POE 1 players and streamers, this has always been debated even years ago. They brought out ruthless in POE 1 which was almost impossible to max level in. POE 1 ruthless level 92 = level 100 in normal POE 1 (ball park figure, you can verify) these same people say POE 2 is worse.

So take it with a grain of salt, everyone has an agenda (including me, i cant stand archaic psychological tactics that GGG use on there games).


But as my wife says, "i will keep bitching until you stop playing that stupid game and take out the rubbish".

I think EXP loss needs to stay (POE 1 players have explained this to me), but the ruthless portion needs to go. Change the curve, it failed in POE 1 and it will fail here (so ive been told).

Edit:

Do a new POLL if the exp loss stays, but you gain more exp per mob and therefore easier to recover woudnt that balance the expierence players have.
