The Sacred Flame Shrine Sceptre wont allow you to use its sockets.

I have had two different corrupted Sacred Flame sceptres with 2 sockets that refuse to accept soul cores or runes. The sockets don't highlight when moused over with a rune or soul core and you get the message "Cannot socket rune, Soul core or Talisman in an incompatible item class".

For whatever reason, they chose to make sceptre sockets only accept the new talismans and no other socketable items. It would be nice to be able to socket runes in them for extra resists or at the very least the attribute runes.

Thank you, this was driving me nuts. They need to make these Talisman only sockets look different than the normal sockets like they did with Tabula Rasa.
