Inscribed Ultimatum - No Repeat (even on first)

Hi,

Is it right that you lose your first Inscribed Ultimatum on death? I believed that, like the Trial of the Sekhemas, that you kept the first (on failure) until such time as you succeeded and then each subsequent higher level one was lost as you died.

If so, then it appears you can close the first (Inscribed Ultimatum) trial, inadvertently losing your ability to redo it on an unlimited basis, as happened to me.
