Omen of amelioration not used on death.

Last straw was had this weekend. Lvl 96 slowly grinding to 97. Running omen of amelioration that is enabled.

Died twice during Instilled maps over the weekend. Omen failed to trigger both times. Once was with another player, my game hard locked, and when it came back (stayed running) I died and my Omen did not trigger. Figured probably something to due with multiplayer.

Next day, run by myself and get an odd lock/lag during the instilled map and die, no omen proc again....

Hours gone.

I have lost desire to log back in, at least for the time being. Absolutely loving the game otherwise. But this was a kick in the nuts.

Never personally had it bug. The only way I know to have it not work are by not having it active, by having more than 1 omen active at once, or if you have already died in a map having used 1, the second doesn't work as you can only use 1 omen per map.

Happens quite often, just look in the forum.
I had that issue a bunch of times.
If you get a map with 200%+ crit from monsters and that takes your health pool way below the low life barrier you are insta dead, the omes dose not proc.

Well, I did not realize it was once per map, this may actually be the case on the first instance in my post. But my 2nd was a pretty fresh map.

The 2nd time definitely had the +crit modifier on it, perhaps both these instances hit me last weekend.

yeap same issue stuck at lvl 97 becuase of that

Just happened to me too, neither of my omens worked and both show as still active in my inventory after respawning.

Sucks.

I'm glad the OP read what I said. This other guy further below literally states he has two omens active at the same time and is saying it's bugged when I clearly stated you can only have 1 active at a time. Reading does wonders folks.

As for your confirmation bias, that's all it is. I have never had it bug for me outside of user error and I literally run every single mod available. I have been overkilled by a zillion and it still triggers. So while I'm not saying it can NEVER happen, I trust myself and my personal testing and experience over yours, especially when 99.9% of the people I talk to in chat who have this issue are always doing one of the things I outlined above.

I use only omen of AMELIORATION and never worked after 4 deaths. It was enabled in my inventory. Different amelioration orb in every map. So stop tell the people that making wrong actions and never read the small letters.

I don't know what to tell you. I've used hundreds this league across multiple characters and haven't had a single one fail under a myriad of different circumstances and deaths.

1 per map, 1 active omen at a time....never had issues.

It's not a bug, it's user error. It fails to trigger when you have two omens active at once (eg. Amelioration and the one that restores health and ES). I made that mistake once and learned the hard way. Since then, Amelioration has triggered consistently without fail.
