Atlas design suggestions
current design has some issues:
1. lack of progressive feeling 2. altas map makes you feel lost and lack of direction 3. only way to juice you map is 3+tower overlapping (i.e. too RNG) to fix them, below are some suggestions: 1. make map have random intrinsic affixes, the farther from your starting location, the juicier/harder it is. You can use currecy on map nodes to reroll unwanted affixes. So, main way of juicing map is to explore farther. 2. make clear indications for big objectives (citadels, unique maps, future events...), checking every corner of fog is very stupid. make a mid-term boss challenge directly guiding you to the direction. Similar to the concept of Delve, you want to keep digging down to progress. A mini-altas map for quick navigating is even better. 3. make tower not the primary way to juice maps. tower only for reveal for of war (but radius should be much large than current one). You can put tablet with any waystones to juice map. However, every map node can only juiced once. if waystone effect is overlapped, the juice effect should be overwrittened.
