Updated Feedback - Your Not Listening
Ok, so I have invested 832 hours into POE2 as of writing this post. I play only SSF. Here are my thoughts:
1. The one shots are killing this game. Random spike damage from non-elite mobs is not acceptable. These mobs some how one shot someone who is resistance capped, has a good health pool and large shield. I can then respawn and one shot that exact same mob or I can let him beat on me and can't reproduce him one shoting me again. It is not just some random white mobs, it is randomly having 3 chaos orbs spawning almost on top of you and your dead, no chance to react. There are some people that try to say this is a skill issue, but its not. I play non-meta builds in SSF. I am not buying all my gear and then playing some Youtube meta build. This is happening and it really sucks when you are level 80+ and lose so much xp. 2. The xp penalty is too high at high levels. 3. Server lag spikes, going from 30ms to 2000ms every few minutes is not ok. This does not happen all the time, but it happens almost daily. I know it was discussed but this needs to be fixed fast. 4. Stuttering in game due to chat logs is a joke. To play this game, you need to type /clr or /clear throughout the day. This should be TOP priority to fix. 4. In Jonathan's most recent interview he stated his favorite monster is the death knights. This statement gave me heartburn. This mob is just annoying. Nothing cool about the monster, it just reflect damage to the player and when you have a bunch of them in an area and you are mapping you can easily die to them. Why Jonathan? Why do you like things that are not fun but instead get a kick from annoying us? 5. This ties in to point 4. Why are we penalized for everything? We get unique drops that we should be excited about but they all have some type of horrible effect on them and penalizes us for using them. We juice our maps in hopes to get better drops but of course the maps are hit with more penalties buffing monsters on that map or weakening us. Everything does not need to be a catch 22. These penalties do not make the game fun. 6. SSF is a waste of time. I play only SSF and I can tell you it is impossible to farm or even get lucky with a specific unique you need for a build. Is the solution target farming? I don't know, but we should not be required to trade and furthermore trade from out of game on a website. 7. Rituals are too tight in terms of space and in terms of how much damage needs to be avoided within that space. 8. Tornadoes! Why on earth do they do so much damage? Whether its from the casters in the Bone Pits or the tornadoes in Rituals. They do too much damage. I am happy to hear the updates coming, but how are some of these things still not being addressed that are huge issues and players have been very vocal about. There are places on maps that you can end up on top of a pillar or under a map that have been reported since launch and they still aren't fixed. I am concerned this is one man's game/vision and he has all the say and power. I did find it interesting that only Jonathan was at this most recent interview and when he was asked if he would consider opening up skills to other weapons he said "I don't think I would want to do it", he didn't say we. I do hope there is more than one voice behind the updates and the biggest voice of them all "We the Players" is the most important voice they are hearing. On point 4 and 5...
Something I've been thinking about today was the loot patch we had. Done plenty of maps recently and got nothing from rares. I remember the quote from the patch, there is still a chance you will receive nothing from rare monsters. Why? Why have you deliberately chosen to design this way? You could arrange it so you are 100% guaranteed to get at least something from every rare mob but you just had to put that little bit of gloom in there the same way you add frustration to every mechanic in the game almost. Catch 22 indeed. I don't understand the desire to add "un-fun" to everything. |

The 6th point is especially funny. ssf is always a waste of time, always. there is no content to play, zero bosses to farm after uniques nerf. its main problem. |

" EXP penalty should have been exactly how it should be if there was skill,class abd weapon balance. Unfortunately some people benefit from this lack. |

I agreed only on technical part of the post (lags and stuff), other stuff is crying. I hope GGG will continue to not listen to you
