RECOMBINATOR Mashine needs serious rework.
After collecting ton of materials before the release of the new "gambling" mashine, i spend a lot of tries to see actually how it works and what are the positive possibilities of creating a new enhanced item.
My thoughts are: 1. First of all the materials that being collected as drops are significally low percentage if we consider that it needs 20-25 of them for one use. It should be increased 300%. People want trying after of every 2-3 complete maps. 2. I noticed that in failure of a recombination try, the mashine destroyes both items used. Give a small percentage ( about 20-30% ) one of them being saved. Also an extra 5-10% chance being saved both. The items that take part in this procedure are extremely rare and due to lack or bad percentage drops, people ain't gonna try loose them for nothing. 3. Recombination mashine is generally by its nature a gambling machine wether is improved or not. So typically a small percentage of an unexpected marvellous result should be added as reward. 1-2% should be fine for keeping people's curiosity warm! (As marvellous result i mean +50% extra increased modifiers) 4. I think frustration and dissapointment of a combination failure shouldn't be in majority percentage, so boosting a little chances( about 30-50% increased) could make even prejudiced players give a try. 5. Last i wanna see a small machine ( or at least as a extra feature of Recombinator mashine) that converts material to others for better and fast use. In conclusion the Recombinator mashine is way for people to try their luck rather than actually crafting but with those points mentioned above could both goals achieved. 最後にスレッドがバンプされた時間 時刻 2025/07/06 17:27:24

+1 to all of these suggestions.
Seems like Devs ran out of ideas or they don't know how to keep people in game. The game become empty. There is no even parties to join. Completely chaos after 0.2.0 and all they announcing is microtransaction, running leagues and new environment graphs. With at least 50% of bug fixes people would have been returning to check. So what we expecting in new small patch? New runes? They announcing new Uniques and improvements to all Uniques. LoL. Kidding right? We have seen this fairytale again. |

+1. RECOMBINATOR mashine is a worst gambling mashine i've seen in past 10 years in games.
I think is more disenchant mashine than recombinator. The percentage of positive luck is a joke. |

" Indeed seems like more disenchant mashine. Devs need to buff it a little to make it more decennial for use. People regretting putting staff on there. It's 99% failure. |

Bumb. It can still be one of the best mashines if Devs sto punishing so much the crafting system.

After making some experiments, I came to the conclusion that the recombinator was intended as a garbage disposal in its current state.
Maybe this game is trying to tell us lowkey that gambling is bad. | |
its not just this. its the entire loot system is built around producing huge numbers of absolute garbage.
and the shame of it is, its because trade exists. |

" To be fair improvements to all Uniques is indeed nice, same as new uniques... but there is no build diversity. |

Recombinator is fine. I totally like using it for recombing the right affix to the right base. People don't seem to understand what it is used for and how it works, but that is fine with me. It is very easy to call names and think something you don't understand is stupid. The best and most funny part is... Say you see something has 5% of recombing. Does not mean that, if you try 20 times, only 1 will work. It means the chance for each attempt is 5%. Learn basic math, learn when it is useful to use the recombo in it's current state. Stop complaining about things you don't understand and start using your brain. Top gear should be hard to get, if at all. Learn to play without top gear.

I agree it's bad. Somehow I don't think they will change it though.
