Hello!
After the latest patch I wanted to bring this forward. I'm not sure if something was changed, but it feels a lot different and not in a good way. My controller input is picking up items off the ground even with enemies very close to me. Right around typical melee range. I didn't have this problem before, and now my inventory is filling up with random normal and magic items while I am mapping since the game wants me to pick the items up before I can attack the enemies. Change that attack button or your pick up button to a different button. You have 1 button doing an attack and pick up.

I agree that is a solution to circumvent the problem for the time being, but I know I am not the only one that has always used the weaker attack on A and then the stronger on X and never had a problem.
Controller has never had the A button "interact" prioritize over enemies. There has always been a certain distance that no matter what, attacking will prioritize over interact. |
