Using OMEN of Amelioration DOES NOT WORK

So I have put in lots of money into POE 2 because I respect the hard work GGG puts into this game. But when 4 times in the 10 days the Open of Amelioration did not work! that is how many hours at level 97 that simply are wasted.
Why make something to mitigate this XP loss without it working 90% of the time.
26 times I have spent $ supporting this game.
FIX this please refund me my XP
makes no to punish players causing majority to quit before getting to 100.
Imagine a player got to level 100, then rolled on another class to enjoy the fun process of this game. I quit last season afer not getting past level 97 because your omen of Amerlioration should say, 90% of the time will save some xp

I can't help but think it's strange that GGG want XP loss in the game, presumably to stop 100% glass cannon builds, but then specifically create a cheap consumable that mitigates losing said XP.

What's the thinking here?

Either you want people to lose 10% XP on death or you don't. Make your minds up!

Well, OP is actually correct, it seems that there is a new bug introduced regarding this because it also happened to me 3 days ago.

It was the first time I've ever see that. It always worked before. I only had 1 omen activated and it was Omen of Amelioration and when I died it did not trigger and I lost 10%.

I don't really care at all but there is a bug that just need to be fixed.

I had this issue recently. I died, ate a full XP Loss and wondered what the heck happened to the Omen. In fact, when I opened the inventory, the Omen was still there and still ACTIVE.

Some deaths seem to not be triggering the Omen. It's true. My brother had a similar problem dying without getting the Omen of Refreshment to trigger.
