Weapons damage why do we have elem % on martial weapons ?!
Question , am I the only one that doesn't understand why they added Elem % damage to weapons ?
And on top of the the % elem is always aalot lower then % phys So where is the point t of even having that stat in the poll if %phys gives more dmg and flat elem doest give enough dmg to use 3 flat elem base dmg even taking 2 flat elems +flat phys doesn't provide the expected dmg ? A lot of weapon skills convert a part of the physical damage into elemental, which is then augmented by the elemental bonus.

" yes but there is no situation where % elem would be better no matter what u use on ur skill if its a hibrid+ infused skill % phys +flat phys+ flat lightning /etc always give most dps , so what purpose % elem serves? seems like a crap affix =/ |

I know there's at least 1 spear that gives lightning base damage which would benefit greater from +elem than +phys. If it truly does consistently give less of a dps buff than flat phys even for elem builds than I do think the balancing should be fixed on the numbers. I don't think the mod needs to be removed though, it should just be better at doing what it claims to do (+%elem damage) than mods that don't claim to do that (+%phys damage).
