Sounds like you're weirdly insecure about which blob of pixels you're controlling in a video game..

What i'm saying is it just doesn't matter. In every circumstance of gameplay i've never contemplated the gender of my characters. I'm too busy killing shit...

Would be nice to be able to play a female druid, I don't want to play as male.

I cannot fathom why anyone would care about this. Why on earth would anyone be so loath to play a character because of their gender?

If playing as a certain gender is alienating to you, then maybe that's a YOU problem, not a GAME problem. It really shouldn't be alienating.

Well, I kinda agree. Personally I like to play either female warr or stacked male like Marauder from Poe1. He is outdated ofc, but man he has some character. I really don't like the current bland Poe2 warrior. Would rather prefer to play female.

I could be mistaken, but I think GGG said that they were putting in the "scaffolding" to add new character base models by leveraging the new animation system. It's still early days, and I doubt they're going to be adding new models for 0.3.0 or anything, but if I recall Jonathan's reply to Talkative Tri correctly during that last interview (or maybe it was the Q&A with ZiggyD?), they're working on something which will do the job here. Expect them to be paid mtx, though, and not free game features, especially since they'd likely involve additional voice lines and such, and you should probably expect them to finish the game first.
