I am a bit sceptical over these changes. For me, Towers always were a great improvement PoE2 did for the Atlas since they serve a duo purpose of setting a goal to get to, and also allow for sweeping deterministic changes for surrounding nodes.
I feel a lot of strategic element of PoE2 Atlas is going to be lost thanks to tablet/Tower changes.
Like, this looks very much like a change to please veterans used to PoE1 map blasting hence the added values for tablet effects, rather than streamlining the reward and progression in Atlas overall.
Also, if respawning after dying to a boss still wipes both mobs and activities from the map, this is going to just lead to even more cases of map bricking than before.
Tldr: this is going to negatively affect the players at the start and middle of their Atlas progression, and significantly boost endgame players with massive amounts of resources already.
The majority's opinion is what actually matters to make a game good, not the minority like you

Modifiers that cause the area to be covered in Chilled/Shocking/Ignited Ground now cause much less ground to be covered. At least 66% of the ground effects currently covering the ground will be removed, this value is higher on lower tier Waystones.
Just remove these completely they brick maps

I have 159% rarity. Still dropping dogshit. What's your point? The quantity of bad items is absurd. Just turn your loot filter off. Wtf is all that nonsense.
Literally all you need this patch is a white base and currency. If you can't find those with 159% rarity, you are doing something wrong.
I had better gear in SSF 50 hours into this league than I did 500 into the last one.

Before the change, I could run under 3–4 towers on maps that had at least 2+ portals.
Now you are FORCING us to play on maps with 0 portals.
This is still a nerf because of this stupid system, remove 0 portals and the game will become playable.
